In this world, love is considered a crime and lover a crazy - Diwana. . Rajkumar Ashok was heir-apparent to small state. While he had gone to jungle for hunting, he fell prey to the charms of Lali, a jungle girl. Stelathily, they started meeting each other and secretly Rajkumar got married her. . Neither the Dowager queen-mother nor Lalis father approved of this secret match. There was hate and enemity on both sides. Lalis father who was a chieftain of the jungle tribe attacked on the night the palace and looted it out of spite and revenge; and before the day dawned, he ran way with his tribe. . Rajkumar, for the sake of his love for Lali, left his palace, sacrificed his estate and joined the tribesmen who did not welcome him While he was lying unconsious, the tribe left leaving Lali alone to cry over his body. As ill-luck would have it, the people from the palace who were in search of prince came and took away his body leaving Lali alone to cry over his body. Without any companion or protector Lali was utterly left alone in this vast world. Thanks to doctors, Rajkumar Ashok got a new life. Physically, he was cured; but his heart-ache for Lali, drove him crazy . Time marched on. On one hand Ashok was married again, on ther Lali gave birth to a child. Ten years passed away. Ratan, Lalis son had come realize that his father was a prince and that he was their to the state. One day, the curiosity to be hold the Royal fort brought him to the palace. There he saw his father alive. He became a servant and started saying in the fort itself. . Inspite of all these years, Ashok had not forgotten Lali. He had developed a new illness of walking in his sleep. At night in sleep he would walk down to the place where he had met Lali first. Ratan took advantage of this illness; he brought his mother and father together. But alas, Ashok met lali when he was not awake or conscious. Ratan tried again to bring the seperated lovers together; but he had to pay a heavy price-the price of his life itself-to bring them together. . A son like this is born one in thousand years.
