Bimla, a ordinary school teacher but a gospel of simplicity, and humility had a great abhorance for her spendthrift habits and unneccary grandeur. Bimla pleaded, argued remmonstrated warned Seema to desist but to no avail. At last, Bimla got a long awaited opportunity to give a vent to her suppressed feelings on Seemas birthday she challenges Seema to prove her worth by earning One Thousand rupees a year wit sweat of her brow and remarked that all the pomp and show being displayed was built on the structure erected by her for-fathers. Seems felt insulted and in temper accepted it. Entrusting her business and household affairs to the care of her solicitor abandoned herself to her fate. .
